Caryl McAdoo lives in Red River County, Texas, where she brags the nearest soda pop or gasoline is almost ten miles from home. In the country setting of the Texas piney woods, she enjoys four wheeling over the 916-acre McAdoo Ranch, horseback riding, and caring for donkeys, dairy goats, chickens, and a plethora of dogs and cats. Caryl credits her relationship with the Lord for every good blessing in her life, including ten children (counting “in-loves”) and fourteen grandsugars. Her heart’s desire is to bring Him glory.

Q. What is your motto or maxim?

A. No deal is a good deal unless everyone walks away blessed!

Q. What’s your greatest fear?

A. I used to be such a scaredy-cat! I could sure tell some stories! But in hearing and studying God's Word, I discovered that He tells us 365 times in one form or another DO NOT FEAR! He revealed to me that fear was the opposite of faith, so, trying to live my life in such a way as to please God, I decided I had no reason to fear anything. After all, when He loves me so, is 'for' me, will never leave or forsake me, what did I have to be afraid of? All that to say, 'I fear nothing!" tee hee hee People accuse me of writing books all the time!

Q. With whom in history do you most identify?

A. Mary the mother of Yeshua, because she was so blessed among women. All the time-or much of it- I feel like I am so blessed among women for being Ron McAdoo's wife.

Q. What is your favorite occupation, when you’re not writing?

A. Ranching - I love being around animals and working with them.

Q. What’s your fantasy profession?

A. I must have said a million times in my lifetime, "Oh how I'd love to get paid for singing!"
