Dagrún Ósk Jónsdóttir is a folklorist at the University of Iceland and works for the Icelandic Museum Association. Her research on Icelandic folklore and legends has included the topics of cannibalism, Ouija board traditions, supernatural beings and, for her PhD thesis, women, femininity and gendered power relations.
