Edward Austin Hall co-edited the 2013 anthology Mothership: Tales from Afrofuturism and Beyond, which The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction suggested, in 2015, might be “one of the most important sf anthologies of the decade.” That estimation resonated in 2021, when Mothership appeared in a story headlined “Sci-Fi Has Changed A Lot In The Past Decade—These 7 Reads Will Show You How,” which ran on NPR.org’s main page. Hall’s first novel, Dread Isle, was published by Gumbohaus in December 2020. His new novelette, Green Treacheries, is set to appear in the MVmedia anthology Terminus 2 in 2022.
