She has reported from some of the world’s most dangerous places including Afghanistan, Iraq, Israel, Gaza, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Pakistan, Somalia, and Kosovo. She is the author of Madness Visible, The Quick and the Dead, and The Place at the End of the World. She lives in Paris, France.
