London-based Irish writer and journalist Paul Brannigan has two books due for publication in 2021—a fully updated and revised 10th anniversary edition of his 2011 Sunday Times bestseller This Is a Call: The Life and Times of Dave Grohl, set for publication via HarperCollins on September 2, and a revealing new biography of legendary, much-missed guitar god, Eddie Van Halen, scheduled for publication via Faber & Faber (UK, September 23), Permuted Press (US, December 14), and Ullstein (GER, August 30). Brannigan is a former editor of Kerrang! and Planet Rock magazine, and a contributor to Mojo, Classic Rock, and Kerrang!
