Shira Dicker is a restless writer-at-large, activist and publicist, who is captivated by contemporary culture. She has written for newspapers, magazines, and news sites that are local, national, and global. She was an early blogger, launched a podcast during the pandemic, and offers real-time commentary on various social media platforms.
Educated in the US and abroad, Ms. Dicker’s sensibility is global, though her lens is stubbornly American. The mother of three adult children and grandmother of three little ones, she lives with her husband, the writer Ari L. Goldman, and her Pomeranian Luke Wilson on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
