Anneke Gerbrands (The Netherlands) creates engaging and thoughtful warm stories that resonate with young readers around the world. Michelle Leuveld (1987) is an illustrator and author from the Netherlands. She grew up in Bentelo, where she still lives with her husband and three children. From the moment she could hold a pencil, drawing has been her greatest passion. After several years of teaching, she started working for an educational publisher, where her passion became part of her work. She has illustrated dozens of stories, worksheets, exercise books, and now also picture books. She made her debut as an illustrator for Clavis Publishing with the picture book I’ll Catch You.
