About The Book

An important story about fears and ways to deal with them. For worriers ages 5 years and up.

Do you ever feel scared about something that might happen? Do you worry a little bit, and then more and more? Sometimes little worry thoughts grow into monster thoughts. So how can you tame them? By hanging upside down so they fall out of your ears? By hiding and hoping they won’t find you? Maybe there’s a better way . . .

About The Illustrator

Katrijn Jacobs (1978) from Dendermonde, Belgium is an art teacher in secondary education and mother of three children. As a little girl, no surface was safe. She drew everywhere she could, even on the walls. However, she only pursued her passion relatively late in life. In 2018, she obtained a degree in Illustrative Design in Sint-Niklaas. Katrijn loves to experiment and creates illustrations on various surfaces: paper, glass, porcelain. . . With her playful, cheerful style, she wants to bring a ray of happiness and color to the world. Emotions, people, and nature inspire her enormously. She enjoys exploring analog and digital creation separately, but also bringing together the strengths of both. Based on the premise that anything is possible, she focuses on the present in order to be open to what is yet to come. In the meantime, she enjoys every project that comes her way.
