Raves and Reviews

This book is a great addition to the move by move series by Everyman Chess because it continues with the trend of recruiting chess coaches and active players to write on chess opening .I recommend this book with a minor caveat. Players looking to use this book as a primer on the Alekhine need to read the book backwards because at the class level the minor continuations such as 2.Nc3 and the aggressive options such as the Four Pawn Attack and the Chase Variation are popular and critical.
