Raves and Reviews
This handbook for first-time dads…cuts to the chase of the major milestones, such as the positive pregnancy test, the actual day of birth, and the baby's one-month mark. Fathers without prior exposure to pregnancy, childbirth, or child rearing will find this book very helpful…The 36 sections even have review tips to encapsulate highpoints. Recommended for public libraries.-LJ on DS[[A case for DSII]] Being a new dad, I was looking for a book which would give me tips with my newborn son. Based upon the reviews, "Daddy Smarts" sounded like the perfect book. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed that the vast majority of the book was dedicated to pre-birth topics such as "naming your baby", "getting ready for labor day", "How is my baby developing in the womb". There are 29 chapters in the book and 24 of them were dedicated to before the baby was born. Ch. 25 is titled "Going Home (from the hospital)". I was expecting a little more of this book to be dedicated to advice for fathers for their first year.-a dad in Des Plaines, IL [[More praise for DaddySmarts]] "Of the four books I bought, this was the most informative for new dads."-a dad in North Canton, Ohio"…my husband loved it! I would never have gotten him to read one of my "baby books" since they reiterate a point several times. I highly recommend it!"-woman in High Point, NC
