Megan Wagner Lloyd is the writer of the bestselling graphic novels Allergic, which was nominated for an Eisner Award; Squished, which received multiple starred reviews; and Winging It, which School Library Journal called a “must have,” all illustrated by Michelle Mee Nutter. She is also the author of the Super Pancake graphic novel series, and more. Megan grew up with American Girl and still has her childhood Kirsten doll. She loves reading and spending time outdoors in the Washington, D.C., area.

Maike Plenzke studied illustration at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences Department of Design. She currently lives in Berlin with her partner and their dog. In her studio full of plants, Maike loves to create colorful illustrations for book covers, magazines, comic books, and other exciting projects.

Paige Pooler is an illustrator living in sunny California. Her lifelong passion has been in character creation—she loves to see how her characters develop and tell their compelling stories. She enjoys nature walks with her dog Freddie, exploring new places through travel, and hunting for vintage treasures.
