Fly Fishing with God is a collection of essays and stories about fly fishing and its larger meaning by an award-winning writer. The majority of the included essays have, as their central theme, some aspect of, or allusion to, the healing and therapeutic and mentoring aspects of fly fishing that so many people have recognized, and this theme ties the book together. Many people see this aspect of fly fishing as a form of spirituality, a connection to something larger, and the book capitalizes on that connection.
