About The Authors

Jim Tselikis, a Cape Elizabeth, Maine, native, is the cofounder of Cousins Maine Lobster, a thriving food truck and fast-casual restaurant business with over 75 locations. A 2008 graduate of the College of the Holy Cross with a degree in political science, Jim left a successful career in medical device sales to launch a single food truck in Los Angeles with his cousin, Sabin Lomac, in 2012. Their mission was simple: bring the authentic Maine lobster experience to the West Coast. Their journey took a pivotal turn after a memorable appearance on Shark Tank, securing a partnership with Barbara Corcoran and propelling their brand into nationwide franchising. Committed to sustainability and a “family first” approach, Jim continues to lead the company’s growth, bringing fresh Maine lobster to communities across the US and beyond.

Scarborough, Maine, native Sabin Lomac is the cofounder of Cousins Maine Lobster, a start-up food truck business that has grown to over 75 units, including both gourmet food trucks and fast-casual restaurants. In 2012, he and his cousin, Jim Tselikis, opened a single food truck in Los Angeles, looking to bring the authentic Maine lobster experience from their childhood to the West Coast. After an endearing 2012 Shark Tank appearance that culminated in a partnership with Barbara Corcoran, the Cousins began franchising, bringing authentic Maine Lobster eats to unique neighborhoods across the US. Sabin and his cousin work vigorously to ensure not only the quality and consistency of their product, but to elevate and promote the “family first” ethos at the core of CML.
