Dori Elys both writes and edits children’s books. She lives in New York City with her furry best friend. 

Maria Gabriela Gama is an illustrator born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, a place that inspires her to create colorful worlds. With a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, she started her professional career working with advertising, but soon after, she discovered the magical world of illustration and fell in love with it! Since then, Maria’s been living her dream job and has illustrated all kinds of products such as picture books, puzzles, greeting cards, and toys. She is passionate about her work and wishes to bring joy, representation, and positive change through her cheerful characters and vibrant colors.
