About The Illustrators
José "Pepe" González (1939 – 2009) was a Spanish comic book artist known for his work on the character Vampirella, where he became the primary artist starting in 1971 and drew 53 stories for the series. He received acclaim for his art, winning the Warren Award for best art in a story in both 1971 and 1974.
