"The rhythmic, patterned text reads aloud exceptionally well...the spare, expressive pencil drawings are charming, and the restrained use of watercolor washes heightens their effectiveness. This upbeat picture book has great read-aloud potential for responsive listening and extended play in storytimes."--Booklist
