About The Book
Introduce young readers to the variety, expanse, mystery, and wonder that abounds in the depths of the oceans with this picture book companion to the BBC series The Blue Planet—featuring a foreword by Sir David Attenborough.
Our oceans are home to the greatest diversity of life on Earth and cover seventy-one percent of the planet, yet we have better maps of Mars than of the ocean floor. With so much to discover, this book introduces creatures beyond imagination. Chase sea otters through kelp forests and glide the open ocean with humpback whales in this fascinating nonfiction picture book.
