Nancy Churnin is the author of many books, including Christopher Award winner A Teddy Bear for Emily--and President Roosevelt, Too, Global Society Notable Martin & Anne, Sydney Taylor Notables Irving Berlin and A Queen to the Rescue, and National Jewish Book Award, Sydney Taylor Honor and Junior Library Guild book Dear Mr. Dickens. She celebrates most of her seders in Texas with family and friends, including her dog named Dog and her cat Toby the Terrible.

Alianna Rozentsveig is a children’s book illustrator with a fondness for overly dramatic snails—in fact, she kept a few as a child, much to her parents’ delight. A Sydney Taylor Honor and Crystal Kite Honor recipient, she previously illustrated The Tree of Life: How a Holocaust Sapling Inspired the World. She is often found sketching small worlds and welcomes all woodland creatures in her studio in Israel.
