About The Book

A hostile takeover.
Political and economic chaos.
South America is imploding and a US Navy submarine and SEAL team may be the only ones to stop it…

“If you are a fan of the Tom Clancy novels or those of Brad Thor, you are likely to enjoy this…” —CAPT Mark Clapper, MC, USN (Ret), The Submarine Review

As the winds of change sweep through South America, chaos and uncertainty reign. A radical political takeover looms, threatening to plunge the entire Western Hemisphere into turmoil. And the unrest doesn’t stop there. Seeing the destabilization, China moves to exert its influence economically and politically—further threatening peace and freedom in the region.

But hope is not lost—a team of elite Navy SEALs and one submarine race to determine and then confront the threat. With the fate of the region hanging in the balance, they embark on a dangerous—and likely impossible—mission.

In a volatile political landscape where China seeks to expand its influence, the SEALs and submariners navigate high stakes showdowns and make split-second decisions that will determine the future of not only the hemisphere but the world order.

Drawing upon decades of experience on nuclear submarines and the study of military history, bestselling authors Wallace and Keith present another it-could-really-happen thriller perfect for fans of Tom Clancy, W.E.B. Griffin, Brad Thor, and Mark Greaney.

About The Authors

Born and raised in Eastern Ohio, Commander Wallace received his commission in the US Navy and a degree in engineering from The Ohio State University. After the obligatory and memorable interview with Admiral Rickover, he was accepted into the nuclear power and submarine communities. He served on two of Admiral Rickover’s famous “Forty One for Freedom”, the USS John Adams SSBN 620 and the USS Woodrow Wilson SSBN 624, during which time he made nine one-hundred-day deterrent patrols through the height of the Cold War. George currently resides in Alexandria, VA

Don Keith is a native Alabamian and attended the University of Alabama where he received his degree in broadcast and film. He has received awards from the Associated Press and United Press International for newswriting and reporting. He is also the only person to be named Billboard Magazine "Radio Personality of the Year" in two formats, country and contemporary. Keith was a broadcast personality for over twenty years, owned his own consultancy, co-owned a Mobile, Alabama, radio station, and hosted and produced several nationally syndicated radio shows.

His first novel, "The Forever Season." received the Alabama Library Association's "Fiction of the Year" award. Keith has written extensively on historical subjects including World War II, submarine warfare, and fiction, biographies, and non-fiction works on a variety of subjects. He has published more than forty books, two of which—HUNTER KILLER and COLORS OF CHARACTER—have been adapted for the screen.
