About The Book
Ex-heiress, Anna Blanc, is precariously employed by the Los Angeles Police Department, reforming delinquent children and minding lady jailbirds. What she really wants is to hunt criminals and be alone with Detective Joe Singer--both no-nos that could get her fired. On a lover's tryst in Griffith Park, Anna and Joe discover the body of a young gambler. Anna can't resist. She's on the case. As her murder investigation stalls, and her police matron duties start piling up, strange floral arrangements begin arriving from an unknown admirer. Following the petals leads Anna to another crime--one close to home. Suddenly pitted against Joe, Anna must examine her loyalties and solve the crimes, even if it means losing the man she loves.

Raves and Reviews
The novel doesn't neglect deeper themes, most notably the limited choices available to women in early 20th-century America. Kincheloe remains a writer to watch. (STARRED REVIEW)
– Publishers Weekly
Part murder mystery, part romance, THE BODY IN GRIFFITH PARK is a fast-paced and funny tale of a fearless and independent young woman way ahead of her time. I look forward to seeing what Anna Blanc will get up to next time.
– Reviewing the Evidence
A wild romp through turn-of-the-century Los Angeles... Anna Blanc is a blast.
– Amy Stewart, New York Times bestselling author of "Girl Waits With Gun"
I’m an ardent admirer of Ms. Kincheloe's obvious research into the early part of the 20th century. More than that, she brings Anna and her surroundings to life, making me want more. I guess I’ll have to go pick up The Secret Life of Anna Blanc while I’m waiting for book #4
– Buried Under Books
If you're looking for a new series with that blends a historical setting, a bit of sass, a good mystery and an intriguing heroine, you'll want to meet Anna Blanc.
– The Baking Bookworm
The Body in Griffith Park is a fun read that makes for a great escape.
– Girly Book Club
This is classically Kincheloe - giving you a lot of fodder to chew on, a dearly complicated case to unravel and a chase of sorts to adventure inside as you take up the pursuit on the footheels of Anna Blanc!
