About The Book

The final volume of the intrepid adventurers Everett & Naomi as they rush to discover the secrets of the Obscure Technologies and find their missing parents

In this final volume, Everett and Naomi set forth on their most daring adventure yet.

First, in London, our friends meet Mathilde. This young girl—even more brilliant than they are—appears to share their unique genetic makeup. She has been surviving here for some time, with only her robot, Pops, for company. Setting out in search of their parents, they—accompanied by Mathilde and Winfrey—follow the signal from their detector all the way to Cairo, where they land their seaplane. Yet this expedition is fraught with danger, for robotic guardians protect the site and soon find themselves entangled in a Russo-German space project far beyond their comprehension! Despite it all, their journey might just allow them to learn more about their own unique genetic makeup—and the link they share with these Obscure Technologies.

Finally, in Egypt, they land in a hidden city—one that turns out to be the very cradle of the civilization that created the Obscure Technologies! After crisscrossing the globe, the children are now almost at their goal. Will they succeed in finding their parents and solving the riddle of the Obscure Technologies' origins?

This final volume—packed with twists and turns—brings to a close an incredible fantasy series that has captivated readers thanks to its many thrilling adventures and a cast of characters forever in pursuit of the truth. A saga not to be missed!
