About The Book

In this fourth installment of a beloved cozy mystery series, amateur sleuth Maggie Messina and her knitting-club friends must untangle murder in their seaside New England town of Plum Harbor, Massachusetts—a series that is “sure to hook cozy fans” (Publishers Weekly).

The Black Sheep Knitters’ latest project is a labor of love: helping a bride-to-be knit elegant shawls for her wedding. But days after the ceremony, the groom dies in what appears to be a tragic accident. As the knitters rally around the grieving family, long-simmering secrets and betrayals—both romantic and business-related—begin to surface.

When the groom’s body is discovered again after the funeral in a motel room, the case takes a shocking turn, and the newlywed widow becomes the prime suspect. Convinced of her innocence, Maggie and the Black Sheep Knitters dive into the investigation, sorting through a tangled web of family, friends, and enemies to uncover the truth before the real killer strikes again.
