Charles Sophy

Dr. Charles Sophy is a psychiatrist and the former medical director for the County of Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services. He has been a staple on Dr. Phil for the last twenty years. He now brings his experience and expertise to his book, Family Values, continuing his work on repairing parent-child relationships, just as he did in his previous publication, Side by Side: The Revolutionary Mother-Daughter Program for Conflict-Free Communication. In addition to his work with Dr. Phil, Dr. Sophy has appeared on television programs such as Today, Good Morning America, CNN’s Larry King Live, Anderson Cooper 360, and on the FOX News Channel.
