David Stelzer

David Stelzer is the Founder and CEO of Azure Standard and a leading voice in the movement to restore integrity to the American food system. Raised on a multi-generational farm in the Pacific Northwest, he witnessed the erosion of soil health, farmer independence, and food sovereignty, and chose a di erent path.

What began as a commitment to regenerate his family’s land grew into Azure Standard, now one of the nation’s largest independent distributors of organic and non-GMO foods, serving hundreds of thousands of families across the United States.

For more than four decades, David has challenged centralized food systems and championed regenerative agriculture, decentralization, and values-based enterprise. He speaks nationally on the vital connection between soil health, human health, and cultural renewal, calling for a food system that honors both people and the planet.

His forthcoming book, releasing Autumn 2026, tells the stories and history behind Azure Standard, and how a farmer’s humble vision took root across the nation.

David and his wife Kimberly, reside in central Oregon and are the proud parents of 11 children, many of whom are part of the senior leadership and team of Azure Standard.
