Eugene Hutz is unquestionably the most famous Ukrainian musician in the world. He leads Gogol Bordello, the preeminent and internationally famed “gypsy punk” band with fans and followers in the millions. With his inimitable songwriting and charismatic stage presence, he has guided his group through eight successful studio albums (so far) and two decades of sold out shows from New York to London to Istanbul. As an actor, he has starred in acclaimed films such as Everything Is Illuminated (2005). He is also a highly in-demand DJ, event host, guest musician, and political activist.
