Heidi Gruber O'Very is a writer and home educator. Her love of writing has branched from plays and books to teaching creative writing in the prison where she volunteers. She is also an involved adoption advocate. Her passion for helping children look beyond themselves to the larger world and the needs within has been with her throughout her life thanks to the loving example of her own parents. Heidi lives in St. Louis, Missouri with her husband and four children.
