Luke Uglow is a lecturer in Art History at the University of York. His research is focused on the reception of Italian Renaissance Art in the nineteenth century, particularly the historiography of early sixteenth-century Venetian painting. He has previously taught art history at the universities of Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Manchester.
