About The Author

Margareta Magnusson (1934–2026) is the author of The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning and The Swedish Art of Aging Exuberantly. She was born in Sweden and lived all over the world. Margareta graduated from Beckman’s College of Design and her art has been exhibited in galleries from Hong Kong to Singapore. She had five children and seven grandchildren and did not leave a mountain of stuff for them to clean up when she died.
