Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894), was a Scottish novelist, essayist and poet who contributed several classics to the world of children’s literature. He is best known for A Children’s Garden of Verses, Treasure Island, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and Kidnapped.
