Tamra Davis is a director of some of the most iconic music videos in the early decades of MTV. She is the director of films including the thriller Guncrazy (starring Drew Barrymore), CB4, Billy Madison, Half Baked, Crossroads (with Britney Spears), and 13: The Musical for Netflix; and, for TV she directed episodes of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Dead to Me, P Valley, The Politician, Younger, My Name Is Earl, Ugly Betty, and Grey’s Anatomy, among others. Davis’s documentaries include Jean-Michel Basquiat: The Radiant Child, The Punk Singer, and The Best Summer. A veteran public speaker, she has spoken at the Directors Guild of America, film festivals, and museums. Davis and her work have been featured in publications including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Forbes, Variety, GOOP, and The Hollywood Reporter. She is the author of Make Me Something Good to Eat and Girl with a Camera.
